1) We are an indie game development studio. We have funded the company ourselves, fully own it and now sleep underneath bridges. We dig DIY, and we got a great team of not-too-lazy people - beautiful, talented and smart married women and smelly men - typically working between 2pm and 3pm to provide the best possible fun experience for you. We LOVE you, customer. No, not like this.
2) Simply selling fleshy images or videos to semi-drunk customers is not our glass of very distinctly tasting Italian Merlot. We strive to deliver novel, sexy and ironic gameplay as well as cool graphics - all in an open discourse about sexuality. We respect age restrictions, though, whilst we also believe in self-responsibility. For example, this means that you should close this window after reading.
3) We have made it our mission to demonstrate how next generation smartphones and sensor-rich devices such as the iPhone and the iPod touch open the door to novel interactive and fun experiences in the mobile market. Our sincerest apologies go out to our competition. With "Ladylover: Heavy Petting" we are taking the first official step - albeit in the adult market - knowing and preparing for several other possibilities, such as integrating geolocation into mobile gameplay or integrating with social platforms - all Web-based.
4) And yes, it's frigging political: with this service, we consciously bypass (and hope to somewhat challenge) Apple's restrictive app store policy. We are not exactly thrilled by Apple's distribution policy, so we considered how to deliver an experience that looks and feels like an app from the App Store, but that is actually browser-based, circumventing Apple's awkward approval process and paving the route for an alternative distribution of mobile services.
5) Call this a hack, call it our take on the economy of the mobile world (if we dare say so), call it
"pretty clever", as an undisclosed Wired.com journalist put it ... we don't mind. Well, that's
not true: we do mind. A lot. If you want to further discuss these matters with us, please contact us at
